Owen Garitty’s Passion for Visual Storytelling Bridges the Gap Between Industry and Creativity 

The art form of visual storytelling is a powerful vehicle for creative expression. It takes a certain level of talent and imagination to bring stories to life through images and sound, and fortunately, Owen Garitty has all of that in spades. Consistently honing his craft since he was a young boy, Owen has managed to grow into a powerful force in the creative industry, allowing him to gain the trust and confidence of his peers and clients.

Owen Garitty’s passion for visual storytelling has made him who he is today. What initially began as an aptitude for photography has evolved into a creative prowess spanning different forms of media, such as film direction, brand design, and strategic marketing implementation. Creativity takes many forms, and Owen has managed to channel his many talents to build a repertoire of expertise ranging from the creative direction at FPW Media, international business consulting, speaking on marketing and branding, and real estate investment. 

The firebrand individual initially developed a passion for photography when he received his first camera at ten years old. Over the years, Owen’s passion eventually blossomed into his first photography award when he was 13. By the age of 15, he had already started working as a professional product photographer for clients in Portland, Oregon. 

Owen Garitty’s work on product catalogs, designs, brand identity, photography, and film production quickly attracted a client base of national and international consultancies propelling him into a position of prominence in the ever-growing creative industry. Since the inception of his renowned career, Owen has accumulated over two decades of experience, allowing him to successfully bridge the gap between industry and creativity. 

In 2013, Owen Garitty formed the “unagency” FPW Media, a creative studio that designs and implements meaningful media content and effective marketing strategies for its clients. With a unique and diverse clientele, FPW Media has worked with brands ranging from big machinery powerhouses to apparel, agriculture, and large-scale manufacturers. FPW Media was founded on the promise of transparency, tight turnarounds, and taking a non-traditional view of creative marketing strategy. 

With decades of creative experience under his belt, Owen Garitty frequently shares his knowledge and expertise with other members of the field. He is regularly invited as a keynote speaker discussing topics such as marketing, brand representation, and emerging concepts in consumer goods. Owen is also a shrewd investor when it comes to real estate. His investments keep him traveling up and down the West Coast, where he has worked with brands in commercial real estate, hotel and hospitality properties, and many more.
