Women of the Movement is an upcoming six-episode series developed by ABC, written by Marissa Jo Cerar, directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, and produced by Jay-Z, Will Smith, and Aaron Kaplan. The series will revolve around Mamie Till, the mother of Emmett Till, whose name has been prominent in the civil rights movement. Joining the star-studded cast is rising star, TJ Jackson.

Women of the Movement is a longtime passion project for Jay-Z, Will Smith, and Kaplan.
