Boxing is a sport where good equipment makes a monumental difference in both performance and protection. One of the  innovative developments in recent years has been the revolutionary DR-T padding technology devised by Hit N Move, a company founded by Ozhan Akcakaya. DR-T padding in the “All Day” training gloves, 24-ounce gloves, and competition gloves follows the points of ergonomy to optimize acceleration, balance, and protection. What really distinguishes these gloves, though, is their unparalleled durability and adaptability that make them so critical for boxers of any rank.

Powered by Innovation

The story of DR-T padding begins with Ozhan Akcakaya, who applied his knowledge in orthopedics and, by working closely with surgeons, developed the first innovative padding system. His goal was to develop a device that could simulate mechanics like a punch-like mechanism, similar to the distribution of the weight of a dart. Emulating the weight distribution in the human arm makes DR-T padding synonymous with Natural Body Mechanics, offering protective gloves for enhanced athlete performance

A Lasting Performance Layer System

DR-T padding is not just a single layer of protection; it’s a multi-layer system, with a specific purpose for each: boosting performance and extending glove life.

Comfort ID Memory Foam

This is the first inside layer on the knuckle, this memory foam moulds itself to the unique shape of each individual boxer’s hand for a snug, tailored fit. This feature calls not just for comfort but also makes each punch feel secure, cutting injury by a lot over some time.

DR-T Compressor Layer

The second layer is the actual heart of the DR-T padding system. Called DR-T Compressor, the layer is specially designed for impact reversal and protection of the hands. Performing quite impressively in the sphere of impact absorption and dispersion, this is one of the reasons the gloves will not break down against harder surfaces.

Lightweight Sheet Foam-Resilient

In front of the DR-T Compressor, there is a lightweight sheet foam that works very much like a uniform and cohesive layer. This resilient material contributes to the structure and durability of the glove with little additional weight.

Two-in-One Optimized Density External Layer

The last layer constitutes the external padding optimized for dual functionality. While it serves well in striking the bag, it still maintains the capacity to absorb repeated impacts while sparring without its integrity being compromised. It is this layer of optimized density that makes the longevity of the glove possible as these gloves can absorb this heavy use and keep on protecting both the athlete and their sparring partners against unnecessary damage.

Durability That Stands the Test of Time

Unrivaled in durability by market standards, DR-T Padding forms the core of this glove. Whether you’re training day in and day out or competing, these gloves are built to last. Thanks to the layered padding system, DR-T ensures that the structure and protection features of the gloves remain intact even after repeated use. Unlike traditional boxing gloves that fall apart after extensive bag work or even sparring, Hit N Move Gloves with DR-T padding remain intact and prevent the glove from wearing out or becoming flat. Giving peace of mind to boxers, knowing that their equipment will maintain protection and performance throughout the life of the equipment.

By focusing on durability and adaptability, the company managed to craft gloves that would last but also enhance performance in every kind of training environment. Be it bag work or sparring in the ring, the DR-T padding offers up the perfect balance of protection, performance, and longevity. DR-T technology helps boxers train with assurance, knowing their gloves are built to last.
