That ‘90s Show:The late 1990s television sitcom That ’70s Show introduced the globe to a gang of endearing misfits from Wisconsin.
Even though the show ended in the middle of the 2000s, it still has a cult following.
That ’90s Show, the successor to the program, debuted its first trailer on Netflix in late 2022.
The sequel
The first That ’90s Show teaser, starring Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp as the recognizable Red and Kitty Forman, was unveiled by Netflix on November 30.
Their granddaughter Leia (Callie Haverda), who takes over the basement where her parents used to hang out when they were teenagers, serves as the show’s central figure.
The premise reads as follows:
“It’s 1995 and Leia Forman is desperate for some adventure in her life, or at least a best friend who isn’t her dad.”
“When she arrives in Point Place to visit her grandparents, Red and Kitty, Leia finds what she’s looking for right next door when she meets the dynamic and rebellious Gwen.”
“With the help of Gwen’s friends, including her lovable brother Nate, his smart, laser-focused girlfriend Nikki, the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie, and the charming Jay, Leia realizes adventures that could happen there just like it did for her parents all those years ago.”
“Excited to reinvent herself, she convinces her parents to let her stay for the summer.”
“With a basement full of teens again, Kitty is happy the Forman house is now home for a new generation and Red is, well… Red.”
Trailer
The official trailer for That ’90s Show just premiered.
Red tells Kitty as she makes a shopping list for them that feeding Leia and her friends was what “started it the first time.”
At the kitchen island, Red and Kitty begin conversing.
The teaser also reveals the former gang’s hangout locations around Point Place, where Leia first encounters Gwen and her companions.
Kitty unintentionally gives the teenagers a bag of marijuana in an old box when she is in the basement.
After several cut scenes, Wilmer Valderrama’s Fez, who now owns the Chez Fez salon, is introduced to the audience.
In the closing scenes, it is revealed that Tommy Chong’s character Leo is still alive, and Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis’ characters Kelso and Jackie make an appearance together.
In the trailer, Eric and Donna (Topher Grace and Laura Prepon) also discuss how they support Leia’s decision to spend the summer with Red and Kitty.

What happened to the characters after That ‘70s Show?
Eric Forman
Topher Grace, who left the show at the end of the seventh season, still made an appearance in the finale.
However, That ’90s Show makes it clear that he and Donna were married and had a daughter named Leia, even if it wasn’t initially clear whether they made up.
Donna Pinciotti
Donna realized she was prepared to go college as the final episode was about to come to an end.
She decided to wait around until Eric showed up.
He didn’t arrive until the absolute last second.
Donna most certainly persisted in her plans to enroll in college and follow her passion of becoming a writer, even though it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Michael Kelso
In the initial episodes of season 8, which he later quit the show, Ashton Kutcher made a few appearances.
He did show up in the conclusion, though.
Despite the fact that Kelso had a child with a different character in the program, it’s possible that the real-life marriage of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis served as inspiration for the characters’ love story and the motivation behind their marriage.

Jackie Burkhart
Jackie Burkhart had romances with Kelso, Hyde, and Fez on That ’70s Show, but it wasn’t until the last season that her romance with Fez became known.
Whether their love endured beyond the show’s conclusion will remain to be seen.
It’s probable that Jackie kept playing that character long after the show had ended because she was working for a network television business when we last saw her.
Fez
Before engaging in a womanizing binge in season 8, Fez became well-liked in a hair salon in season 7.
Despite having the chance to take over the salon or open his own, he chose to remain in a committed relationship in the final season.
