Hip-Hop Artist Yung Dub D Sheds Light on His Rise and How He Developed His Onstage Persona

As more stars are emerging daily, the level of competition in the music industry has increased tenfold, making it difficult for aspiring musicians to break out. With challenges scattered along the road to recognition and fame, many potential artists often throw in the towel too early, losing out the opportunity to reach their goals. However, perseverance can be rewarding as rising hip-hop artist and rapper Yung Dub D has found. If not for his determination to carve his own path, the world would not have had the chance to listen to tracks like “Core,” “Put It All On Me,” “I Agree,” and so much more.

Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Kedric Dewon Battee has made a name for himself as an extraordinary talent under the stage name Yung Dub D. Many of Yung Dub D’s lyrics give listeners an idea of the trials and tribulations that the musician went through in his life. “I came up with ‘Yung Dub D’ because I am a double of my father,” the musician explained. “Even though he is deceased, I know he is still with me on my journey. I feel like my first name should have been Donald. Moreover, my middle name is Dewon, so that’s where Dub D comes in.”

Like many in the industry, Yung Dub D cites Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Lil Wayne as his primary influences. “They have been the reason for me taking up music and pursuing it seriously,” he said. “These music geniuses have been known to express distinct feelings through their songs, which have motivated me ‘til no end.”

Yung Dub D started to actively pursue his musical career in 2014, creating mixtapes and recording with a group called Check Life. He would later produce records for one of the group members. Gifted Singer-Songwriter Lucas Muñoz Lends His Voice to the Misunderstood

Music has a magical way of bringing people together. Cognizant of this, rising star and singer-songwriter Lucas Muñoz has made it his mission to create songs that many can resonate with.

The talented musician from Central Florida was exposed to the music industry at an early age because of his father, a professional jazz guitarist. So it did not come as a surprise when the young man also developed a strong passion for music.

His musical roots involve playing the guitar and jazz, thanks to his dad. Some of his biggest musical influences were also famous guitarists like Joe Bonamassa, Slash, Gary Moore, Eric Johnson, and Eric Johnson.

On the other hand, the creative individual has also successfully forged his own career path. In fact, what makes the multi-talented artist stand out is his flexibility, as he firmly believes that the music industry is headed toward a more fluid sound. On top of that, he has seen artists with great potential slowly lose their audience because they were unwilling to explore and elevate their craft. As a result, he makes it a point to experiment with several musical styles and not stick to one genre.

But aside from his incredible artistry, perhaps what separates Lucas Muñoz from the competition is his intent to connect with his listeners. As he perfectly explained, “I strive to have my music resonate within my generation and speak about the struggles or problems. My music also addresses topics previously taboo in preceding generations, such as mental health.”

Guided by this impressive perspective, his debut EP Mutasis features inspiring tracks like “As I Suffer in Silence (1-800-950-6264),” “Hope for the Underrated Youth,” and “True Grit.” The record consists of the musician’s influences and the music he currently enjoys, such as dark pop, hip-hop, alternative, blues, and rock. It is available in digital stores and can be streamed on various platforms online.

As he rises to the top of the music scene, Lucas Muñoz remains steadfast in his commitment to making evocative music that people can relate to. As an independent artist, he writes, records, and produces songs at his home studio. Furthermore, he is also a session guitarist for fellow artists in the Tampa Bay area.

In the future, the gifted singer-songwriter hopes to work and collaborate with like-minded people within the industry. In addition, he wants to continue his passion and perform on the biggest stages all over the world.

However, his biggest goal as an artist is to make an impact on the lives of his fans and listeners. He hopes that his songs can provide them with inspiration and hope to persevere and go after their dreams just like what he did.

As the insightful man profoundly said, “Music helped me embrace my individuality and my weirdness to express myself without fear of judgment. Music helped me improve myself and try to get healthy. I wanted to build my brand to help others that feel misunderstood, shunned, or ignored.”You can check out Lucas Muñoz’s LinkTree to listen and stream his music or visit his social media accounts.

Dr. Susan Landers Shares Her Life Experience as a Mother and Neonatologist in Memoir So Many Babies

For many women, having a great career while navigating the maze of motherhood seems like a far-fetched—almost impossible—idea. Many women feel they have to give up one dream to achieve the other. Neonatologist Susan Landers shares her engaging memoir, So Many Babies, a chronicle of her three decades’ worth of experience as a neonatologist and a mom of three, proving that having the best of both worlds is achievable.

Dr. Susan Landers is a neonatologist who raised three children while practicing medicine full-time. Spending most of her life within the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), she witnessed many changes in neonatal care and high-risk obstetrics, such as artificial surfactant, high frequency ventilation, infertility treatments, and a surge of multiple births. She also witnessed moments of shared joy, love, and friendship between the NICU staff and parents as they worked together to navigate some of the most distressing periods of their sick babies’ lives.

Through her book, Dr. Landers takes the audience on a rollercoaster of emotions as she shares bittersweet memories of her time in the NICU caring for fragile, sick, preterm babies while also providing psychological support to worried parents. In her interview, she shared that she prefers to be honest with parents, and also to provide gentle encouragement.

“I tell them that this is the most stressful thing that will ever happen to them as a couple and that feeling overwhelmed is understandable. I advise them to be present in the NICU as much as possible, to touch and talk to their baby, to hold their baby skin-to-skin, and to ask a lot of questions,” she said.

Dr. Landers also shared in the book that although her practice greatly influenced her as a wife and mother, she is no superwoman. She shared her experience with a major depressive episode after having a baby at forty years of age. Like all mothers, her children tested her in many different ways throughout the years—the worst of which was an adolescent daughter’s eating disorder. Yet, through it all, she persisted. She found resilience and endurance, taking one step at a time, day by day, and she managed to postpone burnout until later in her career.

Each chapter of the fascinating and critically acclaimed memoir So Many Babies weaves together her motherhood experiences with stories of her professional challenges with a few terminally ill babies and quality improvement initiatives to evaluate clinical practice patterns and unnecessary complications. After a late-career advancement into breastfeeding medicine, she worked as a physician trainer for the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is now retired and lives in Austin, TX. Her experience allowed her to gain perspective on her life as a physician and a mother, recognizing each as its virtuous endeavor. She wants to encourage other working mothers to strive to be an effective and caring parent while pursuing a high-stress career.

Since its publication, the book has met with positive reviews, one of which reads, “As a part-time pediatrician and mother, I’ve often struggled to find direct and uncensored mentorship about balancing parenting and navigating practice as a woman. I found Dr. Landers’ book full of excellent anecdotes and ripe with the valuable perspective of a working mother who has seen her children through all sorts of ups and downs.”To learn more about Dr. Susan Landers, MD and her memoir So Many Babies, visit her website. Pro Wrestling Mini-Museum Igniting a Passion for Wrestling Fandom

The professional wrestling world has created a massive fandom worldwide for many decades. To others, it’s a source of readily-available entertainment. But to others, it’s a way of life. And such is the case with Michael Parker, who founded the Pro Wrestling Mini-Museum to ignite and kindle a passion for the performing art.

Whether you’re a fan of the vintage clashes between Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Undertaker or the modern conflicts between Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley, one will understand the sense of excitement in pro wrestling. Jumping on that experience, Pro Wrestling Mini-Museum looks to breathe life into wrestling fandom. The virtual museum is one of the most extensive virtual collections of wrestling memorabilia from some of the most memorable moments and stars in the wrestling world. Currently, it stands as one of the most credible online wrestling museums globally in terms of information and accuracy. Legends, stars, and other fans continue to follow their archive until this day.

The inspiration for the website came from a place called the Pro Wrestling World Museum, which was found in Allenton, Pennsylvania. “It was a treasure trove of wrestling items and heaven for wrestling fans,” shares founder of the website Michael Parker. Another place that Parker frequented was a store called Adventure Land in New Jersey, where he would go for autograph signings. “They have their own display from guests they’ve had in the store,” he adds.

In 2015, Michael started what he calls the “Wrestling Wall” in his own home. The wall contained his own personal collections of signed photos and other memorabilia related to the pro wrestling world. In January 2018, news broke out that the Pro Wrestling World in Pennsylvania would be closing its doors, leaving a sense of sadness for many pro wrestling fans. Dedicated to making the most of the nostalgia, Michael would fill out the museum’s request forms to buy some of the items from the museum that meant the most to him and add to his collection.

A while after, he realized that he could bring the experience to life through the power of the internet. So Michael built the virtual Pro Wrestling Mini-Museum. Since he now had a sizable collection, he decided to take photos of his pieces, including signed photos, merchandise, authentic memorabilia, magazines, ring worn pieces, etc. Many of his pieces have never seen the light of day until the building of the site.

Since starting his online collection, many have come to visit his site. Moreover, the Pro Wrestling Mini-Museum started to pick up traction and gain recognition from news channels. The online collection museum has appeared on many significant publications and news outlets, including NBC, New York Weekly, and Yahoo! to name a few. To this day, Michael continues to grow his collection and share insights on the sport. He hopes to keep the love for pro wrestling alive and build communities around the culture.

Frank Hamre Brings a Whole New Crime Universe to Life with the Story of Damon Lattimore

Crime thrillers and fiction novels have introduced readers to a whole new reality that adds color and excitement to anyone’s downtime or reading blocks. One author, Frank Hamre, looks to bring one new world to life by showing people the life, adventures, and struggles of a Los Angeles-based law enforcer named Damon Lattimore.

Earlier this year, fiction author and doctor Frank Hamre released a book entitled Sunset at LAX, a crime thriller that tells of a multi-faceted case of a murdered surgeon and the detective attached to it. However, Damon, the protagonist of the story, has other conflicts and demons to face as he continues to investigate the doctor’s death. Through the process, he meets a Finnish ice hockey professional named Michael Haikkanen, who gets involved in the affair in a seemingly predestined occurrence.

Following the first book’s release earlier this year, Frank has expanded the universe with a second book, Tokyo Blues, which sends Damon to the other side of the world to solve the alleged murder of an Olympic athlete named Travis Harrison. He travels to Tokyo to investigate the crime and gets caught up in bureaucracy and politics as diplomatic pressure pin down the operation and threatens to turn the case into another mystery void of justice.

The Damon Lattimore story is the outcome of a heart filled with passion for crime novels and thrillers. Despite being a busy doctor in Madrid, Spain, Frank has put considerable effort into creating these two titles and looks to expand them in the future further. Hamre is a half Spanish, half Norwegian medical front liner and book author whose exposure to authors like Agatha Christie, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Leo Tolstoy and Haruki Murakami gave him a sense of wonder and meaning. Frank’s father was a writer too, which played a massive role in influencing Hamre to pursue writing as a passion project.

Today, Frank splits time between serving as a medical professional and creating storylines and arcs for Damon and the new world he created via his two books. The first title, Sunset at LAX, is now available on Amazon. It also features the work of illustrator Rena Violet, who has worked on other titles like The Goddess Throne, Stone of Gabriel, and Wake Up Pretty: Rising Above Beauty Industry Drama.

After settling in Madrid, Spain, back in 2017 and committing to a career in medicine, Frank Hamre thought he had hung his writer’s hat for good. But the Complutense University alumnus and lover of crime fiction couldn’t help it. So in 2020, he started writing again and brought the character of Damon Lattimore to life. Frank hopes to tell more tales in the Damonverse and possibly even expand into other storylines in the future. In the meantime, he also writes non-fiction pieces for lifestyle and mental health publications to sharpen his writing prowess further.

Frank hopes to one day become an accomplished best-selling author and a regular contributor to some of the most prominent lifestyle publications and brands in the world. In the meantime, avid readers can check out the story of Damon Lattimore by visiting Frank Hamre’s Instagram profile and website. Tokyo Blues is also currently available on Frank’s Twitter account.

Noel Mirabal: Open Doors, Acting, and the Pursuit of New Life Chapters

Life’s full of chapters that close at any point. And while these seasons can be melancholic times, they’re usually signals for new beginnings. Not many people see it that way, but Noel Mirabal does. Now, he’s out to show people that their journeys can continue by living out a tale that resonates with that truth as a living example.

Noel Mirabal is a well-known television actor who has appeared in many titles and shows. He played a regular role on the show titled “Purple Gang,” a tale that follows the antics of an immigrant family that would become a significant gang network. Mirabal plays Raymond in the show and has worked alongside legendary film professional, Ramon Alejandro Urdaneta. He’s also appeared in minor roles in movies like “Baywatch,” “Allegiant,” “Graceland,” and a few others. But his big break came in television. He’s played more significant roles for shows and documentaries like “Hialeah,” “American Detective,” and “When Sharks Attack,” to name a few.

Mirabal’s journey into film wasn’t an easy one, but he chose to persevere through hardships. His story as an actor begins with the ending of his career in the US Coast Guard. After transitioning into reserve status in 2015 and eventually receiving an honorable discharge, Noel found himself in career limbo.

Noel Mirabal had it in him to try out acting as a career and threw himself into it. After seeing an opportunity for a casting role in Atlanta, Georgia, he drove to the town to try out for the role. Mirabal slept in his car and showered at a local gym. Three days after that ordeal, he received a call that he had gotten the role. That moment changed his trajectory.

After that fateful encounter, Noel developed a strong passion for acting and worked hard to get projects. He started landing multiple roles in Atlanta and climbed his way up the entertainment ladder. The actor would later gain recognition for his role in “All the Lord’s Men,” produced and directed by Andrew Burton. The more significant series that he joined, “Hialeah,” would later receive an award for best short series. On May 4, 2021, Noel would be inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who list.

Noel’s venture into acting almost felt accidental to the professional entertainer. “I had never ever in my life thought about acting,” shares Noel. “I mean, I love watching movies, yet I never thought about trying to be in them. Either way, after I had started acting, I fell in love with it, and I am the type of person that likes to do things the ‘right way,’ or to the best of my abilities.”

Noel would invest time and energy into his craft, returning to college and studying Drama in Miami Dade College and earning an Associates Degree. When he isn’t busy with his acting schedules, he volunteers at the Homestead Center for the Arts to give back to the community.Despite all his accomplishments, Noel Mirabal believes that there are still many chapters to open ahead. He looks forward to walking into those opportunities and inspiring people with his story of transitions. No Time to Die’s Star-Studded Premiere Is the Biggest Film Event of the Year

The latest installment to the world-famous 007 franchise No Time To Die finally had its highly-anticipated opening night after suffering a lengthy delay of 18 months. Originally slated to be released in March 2020, the premiere had to be postponed several times amid the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The star-studded event was held in London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall and attended by A-list celebrities. Among those to walk the red carpet were the cast of the film, such as Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, David Dencik, and Dali Benssalah. In addition, returning casts including Naomie Harris, Léa Seydoux, Ben Whishaw, Jeffrey Wright, and Rory Kinnear were likewise seen in the premiere.

Other celebrities like Dame Judi Dench, who previously played the illustrious M, Jason Momoa, Michelle Yeoh, and Jonathan Majors have shown up in support of the film.

Director Cary Joji Fukunaga, screenwriters Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who wrote the seven most recent Bond films, and co-screenwriter Phoebe Waller-Bridge were also spotted. World-renowned composer Hans Zimmer, who was asked to score the film just three months before its release and Billie Eilish, who sang the official song for the film, was also in attendance alongside brother and the song’s producer Finneas O’Connell.

Aside from personalities in the entertainment industry, the royals have joined the festivities. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were all seen walking with producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

Of course, James Bond himself, Daniel Craig, was the star of the night. The premiere not only serves as the opening night for No Time To Die but is also a celebration for the award-winning actor as it will be his last movie playing the beloved secret agent. He has starred in five Bond films since 2006.

Many people are left wondering who the next 007 will be with Daniel Craig’s exit from the franchise. However, in her prior interview with BBC Radio 4’s Today program, Barbara Broccoli has shared that they are in no rush to look for the next James Bond. The franchise producer shared, “We’re not thinking about it at all. We want Daniel to have his time of celebration. Next year, we’ll start thinking about the future.”

Right before the screening, Daniel shared a heartwarming toast to the people who tirelessly worked behind the scenes. The actor said, “To the amazing cast and crew, MGM, Universal, Barbara, Michael. A lot of front-line line workers here. It’s an honor for us—we’d like to dedicate this film to you this evening.”

The film industry has been severely impacted by the pandemic and is slowly trying to get back on its feet. Following the successful premiere of No Time To Die, the entire filmmaking sector is hopeful that more people will go back to watching movies on the big screen and enjoy its full experience.

No Time To Die will officially be in theaters starting September 30 in the UK and October 8 in the US.
